 Elon is obsessed with Mars. He founded Tesla to bankroll SpaceX. He kept SpaceX private to maintain full control over the company. He continues having children so he can send them to Mars. He developed Optimus to construct a Mars city in case human birth rates crash. He designed the Cybertruck to tackle the rugged Martian terrain. He introduced Full Self-Driving (FSD) so the Cybertruck could navigate autonomously and Optimus could perceive its surroundings. He launched OpenAI and xAI to equip Optimus with problem-solving skills for Mars. Then, he helped Donald Trump win the presidency and rescued America because it was the only way to safeguard capitalism and global prosperity, ensuring his companies could keep attracting top talent without legal battles or divisive DEI policies creating bloated, inefficient payrolls. Now he’s set to amass up to 1 trillion dollars in wealth—the first person ever to do so—because that’s roughly what it’ll take to cover the flight costs and supplies for a Martian city. What’s his ultimate goal after Mars?
