How fascist is Donald Trump?

There’s actually a formula for that. Grading the billionaire on the 11 attributes of fascism. “Donald Trump is a fascist” sounds more like a campaign slogan than an analysis of his political program. But it’s true that the GOP nominee doesn’t fit into America’s conventional party categories, and thoughtful people — authors Robert Kagan and Jeffrey Tucker, among others — have hurled the f-word at him. Fascism was born in Italy during World War I and came to power with the ex-journalist and war veteran Benito Mussolini in 1922. Since the 1950s, dozens of top historians and political scientists have put fascism, especially the Italian and German versions, under the microscope. They’ve come up with a pretty solid agreement on what it is, both as a political ideology and as a political movement, factoring in all the (sometimes contradictory) things its progenitors said as they ascended to power. As a political ideology, fascism has eight main traits. As a political movement, it has three

Creepy Feminine-Voiced Entity Encountered in Deschutes County, Oregon Posted: 23 Oct 2021 10:53 AM PDT A Seattle woman needed a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and travel out on her own. She later stopped at a free campground, not knowing that she was about to experience a bizarre encounter. The following account was recently forwarded to me: "Sick to death of working myself to death, I took the first vacation of my life last year. A beat-up rebuilt Yamaha Zuma and a foolish sense of optimism carried me across the western United States on an adventure that seriously made me rethink everything I thought I knew about the world. I loved Seattle, with the hip original hippy neighborhoods and the perma-carnival atmosphere of Pike Place Market. The bridge troll was a highlight. Gotta love a city that sees a bridge and goes "You know what this needs? A giant concrete troll." Getting out of Seattle, however, was a total nightmare. Restricted to back roads by a mot

The avatar program

Let us digress from human political and trade games they produce nothing but temporary gains whilst some relationships develop clandestine Friendships that develop over lifetimes and across light-years. From the very moment of our awareness of the vast night sky with its billions of stars and insatiable curiosity have to lead us to search its billions of stars knowing there is a life form like ourselves doing the same. It became a calling to our scientists and through genetic enhancement developed a way to harness and use Quantum energy to create a doorway to other worlds and planets. Through this, we developed mimicry and interstellar travel using quantum energy fields and plasma reactors that create a vast amount of energy from the smallest bits of matter. From orbit, the aerial view of Earth is a map without borders, greens, and blues under the swirling white clouds. Even though terrestrial now interstellar species of having been alive for longer than humans have been without fur,

The Cybernetic Theory

Image
In previous posts, I have looked at how alien races have likely already undergone their own Singularity, melding their given organic forms with cybernetics.   Nikki Olson wrote a very fine piece on this as well. In other previous posts, I have looked at explanations for aerial and "visitation" phenomena that are alternative to what is known as "the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis." I have now come across an article that deftly blends aspects of those two genres together into an entirely new hypothesis that I will call, for serious lack of a better phrase, "the Cybernetic Hypothesis."   A writer named  Al Pinto published an article called "Cybernetics and UFOs"   on Phantasypublishing, a site I came across quite by accident.  It's a well-researched and well thought out piece that is done with a refreshing and healthy dose of humility.  Pinto stresses time and again that he is in merely the formative stages of his hypothesis and that what he is w

Reheading and Beheading

I’ve never had a re-heading go this horribly before. I’d say I’m pretty good at a beheading- I may have broken a neck once or twice, but never any parts I actually liked or intended on keeping, and usually, a re-heading is the easiest thing, right? Just a little squish and pop and done, a complete person. But this time it just- it just won’t go back on the body??  Which is incredibly frustrating but also, like, why?? And the funniest thing is, I’m not even swapping ahead!! This is a curvy dancer's head going onto a curvy dancer's body!! They match!! This should have been so simple!! But no, this head’s just flopping around like a limp flaccid idiot and my hands are all red and sore now but the head just isn’t attaching all the way!! Today I did six beheadings and two other reheadings, and I wanted to get this one attached so I could take a picture, but somehow it just isn’t working!! The head is just getting squished around but isn’t stretching over the neck right!! And I’m w
