Night of the 'Boogey Man' Posted: 16 May 2018 03:43 PM PDT Hi. This is a true (two-part) story about alien contact: Part One: I was approximately 6 years old, and it was the mid-late 1950's. I lived in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan (Birmingham) with my family. One night I was awakened by the sound of muffled panicked cries coming from the other side of my bedroom. It was my brother Mickey who was a year younger than me, and I became immediately and fully terrified. I was facing the wall away from him, and I knew there was no way I would look in his direction, because I knew something or someone was in the room and from the disturbing intensity of Mick's whimpering noises, I knew it was not Santa Claus. I did not move a muscle or make a sound hoping that whatever IT was, would not know I was there. So I literally played dead, as I desperately did not want the 'boogey man' to know I even existed. My heart was pounding in my ears from fear, and m...

tony stark

I think a lot of people believe Tony is arrogant because of his flippant attitude and tongue-in-cheek blustering, but many of his actions (which speak louder than words) demonstrate a remarkable  lack  of ego. Makes Pepper Potts CEO of Stark Industries [ he trusts her more than himself to run his company ] “Dead for almost 20 years, and still taking me to school.” [ could take credit for the New Element, but emphasizes he ‘re’discovered it ] Lays on the wire in  The Avengers  to save New York City when redirecting the nuclear bomb into the wormhole [ after Steve said Tony isn’t the kind of man to do that ]  “I…I’m just a man in a can.” [ said while vulnerable ] “Actually,  he’s  the boss. [ points to Steve ]  I just pay for everything and design everything, make everyone look cooler.”  “Like the old man said. Together.”  “Ultron. My fault.” [ takes sole accountability for the Sokovia disaster, even though Bruce also he...

So I did a year of the whole college thing. This is what I learned

So I did a year of the whole college thing. This is what I learned. 1. It’ll be tempting to fall into the first group of people you find. Don’t. When your body says something is wrong, listen to it.  When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.  There are a lot of things that are important when it comes to friendship. But in my experience, loyalty is above all. If they don’t have your back, if you can’t trust them, you have to leave and never look back. Never give a mile of yourself for someone else’s inch.   I’m dealing with the result of trusting people that I shouldn’t have - with my feelings and my time - and it’s painful extricating myself from that situation. Save yourself the heartache and find people who love you unconditionally and have your back unconditionally. 2. You might find college academics harder than high school. You might find them easier. I found the academics easier but college itself? Hard as shit. Because suddenly, it’s all ...

Phantoms and Monsters: Pulse of the Paranormal Inbox x Updates x Large Bat-Winged Humanoid Reported Over Coachella Valley, CA Posted: 17 May 2018 01:46 PM PDT On September 16, 2017, early morning about  5:15 AM PT  in Coachella, CA. near 4th and Palm Ave. I woke up and went outside. Observed an unknown creature, bigger than any kind of bird I have ever seen. I've seen condors in the past, but this was much bigger. It was all black with a huge wing span that was at least 10 feet; possible larger. It was at an altitude of 100-150 ft. and gliding over my location towards the southeast. The wings had an outline of a bat's wing. It looked very much human, almost 'demonic' I felt; bony arms hanging down with claw-like hands and long legs extended behind. The body had to have been 7ft or more in length. It was making no noise, but I felt like it knew I was looking at it and I was fearful at what I was seeing. ...
