Gettysburg was the bloodiest battle of the American Civil War causing the largest amount of casualties in the war. From July 1st to July 3rd the Union army suffered 23,409 casualties and the Confederate army suffered an estimated 23,000 to 28,000. With such tremendous loss of life and emotions during the battle it comes to no surprise that Gettysburg is one of the most haunted places in the world. This video shows what appears to be spirits floating through the trees as there is a 10ft drop by the flat rock. The eyewitness’ reactions appear authentic, and the film was not fabricated in any way. Whatever was captured on film was truly there.
Paranormal activity is nothing new for the battlefields at Gettysburg, phantom cannons and gunshots are constantly heard. There have even been reports of people seeing and interacting with what they thought were battle reenactors when there was no reenactment going on that day.
