Daniel Grant Wilks The scientific community has been studying contrails since as early as 1919 and these trails of condensation are completely normal. These condensation trails occur when a high-powered engine burning jet fuel at a high temperature moves through an area of sky that has low vapor pressure and temperature resulting in a cloud.

As there can be many different air conditions, there can be different types of contrail. Some can stay straight and defined, while others dissipate quickly and form cirrus-like cloud cover.

Studies continue today to find how these man-made clouds impact the environment. It is unknown how contrails will affect the climate over the long term, but it is thought they may modify the balance between sunlight and infrared in the atmosphere and possibly the chemistry of the upper atmosphere.

Theorists claim that several chemical tests revealed that aluminum and barium have been sprayed from the sky. These are now known as the infamous “pond sludge” experiments. In reality, all the tests show is normal levels of the stated chemicals. It was since discovered that the experiments were often very badly performed. Soil and water, or sludge, was tested instead of water and although aluminum and barium were found, they were only present in expected amounts.

Similar phenomena were also recently featured on the SyFy show Joe Rogan Questions Everything. The show featured Mick West, a game programmer, writer, and debunker who currently runs websites including MetaBunk.org

and ContrailScience.com.

Being the front-running debunker on chemtrails and weoponized weather, West was brought in by Rogan to witness an experiment that was set up to prove that HAARP, a $30 million high-frequency ionosphere research facility in Gakona, Alaska, was creating (or at least had the ability to create) clouds and manipulate the weather.

Brooks Agnew, the scientist conducting the experiment, claimed that HAARP was heating up the vast layers of the ionosphere which West immediately beat down, saying “It would be as effective as throwing a hot rock into a river.” (The ionosphere is, of course, incredibly huge.)

Agnew continued to showcase his phase array experiment said to show the effect of HAARP. A water vapor–filled box with an electrical array inside was turned on, creating a static charge, and the cloud of water vapor began to rise and dissipate with Agnew insisting that “nothing was getting hot at all.” (Heat would naturally cause these effects on a small scale, but HAARP is known to use only radio waves. Therefore, if the experiment could be done without using heat, it could help prove HAARP’s secret function.)

When the experiment was over, Agnew presented the aluminium array to West to ensure there was no heat present in the box and that all the parts were indeed cool to the touch. West was still unconvinced and when he reached inside the box to feel the base plate, which Agnew did not list as a variable, he did find that it was indeed hot. West had clearly discovered that Agnew’s model was, in fact, heating water molecules in order to skew the experiment. Yet this is not how HAARP works.

Although the full level of HAARP’s research is classified, it is known that it uses high-frequency radio techniques to focus a pencil thin wave at the ionosphere, agitating an infinitesimal percentage of it. There is absolutely no heat present at ground level when it is working—further debunking Agnew’s experiment.

As the US Navy and Airforce helped fund HAARP in the early ’90s, it is thought that the array is more likely researching future developments in radio communications.

However, it is worth noting that weather manipulation known as “cloud seeding” is something that is possible and has been done by the American government. The most notable example of this is Operation Popeye—a cloud seeding operation during the Vietnam War designed to extend the monsoon season and flood the Ho Chi Minh Trail, a support and logistics route used in the war.

Clouds were seeded with silver iodide and the trail was turned to mud over 45 days of rainfall making it impassable.

Upon detonation, a 1 kiloton neutron bomb near the ground, in an airburst would produce a large blast wave, and a powerful pulse of both thermal radiation and ionizing radiation, mostly in the form of fast (14.1 MeV) neutrons. The thermal pulse would cause third degree burns to unprotected skin out to approximately 500 meters. The blast would create at least 4.6 PSI out to a radius of 600 meters, which would severely damage all non-reinforced concrete structures, at the conventional effective combat range against modern main battle tanks and armored personnel carriers (<690–900 m) the blast from a 1 kt neutron bomb will destroy or damage to the point of non-usability almost all un-reinforced civilian building. Thus the use of neutron bombs to stop an enemy armored attack by rapidly incapacitating the crew with a dose of 8000+ Rads of radiation,[38] which would require exploding large numbers of them to blanket the enemy forces, would also destroy all normal civilian buildings in the same immediate area ~600 meters,[38][39] and via neutron activation it would make many building materials in the city radioactive, such as Zinc coated steel/galvanized steel(see Area denial use below). Although at this ~600 meter distance the 4-5 PSI blast overpressure would cause very few direct casualties as the human body is resistant to sheer overpressure, the powerful winds produced by this overpressure are capable of throwing human bodies into objects or throwing objects-including window glass at high velocity, both with potentially lethal results, rendering casualties highly dependent on surroundings, including on if the building they are in collapses.[40] The pulse of neutron radiation would cause immediate and permanent incapacitation to unprotected outdoor humans in the open out to 900 meters,[4] with death occurring in one or two days. The lethal dose(LD50) of 600 Rads would extend to about 1350–1400 meters for those unprotected and outdoors,[38] where approximately half of those exposed would die of radiation sickness after several weeks.
However a human residing within, or is simply shielded by at least 1 of the aforementioned concrete buildings with walls and ceilings 30 centimeters/12 inches thick, or alternatively of damp soil 24 inches thick, the neutron radiation exposure would be reduced by a factor of 10.[41][42]
Furthermore the neutron absorption spectra of air is disputed by some authorities and depends in part on absorption by hydrogen from water vapor. It therefore might vary exponentially with humidity, making neutron bombs immensely more deadly in desert climates than in humid ones.[38]

The sun emits light waves with a range of frequencies. Some of these frequencies fall within the visible light spectrum and thus are detectable by the human eye. Since sunlight consists of light with the range of visible light frequencies, it appears white. This white light is incident towards Earth and illuminates both our outdoor world and the atmosphere that surrounds our planet. As discussed earlier in Lesson 2, the interaction of visible light with matter will often result in the absorption of specific frequencies of light. The frequencies of visible light that are not absorbed are either transmitted (by transparent materials) or reflected (by opaque materials). As we sight at various objects in our surroundings, the color that we perceive is dependent upon the color(s) of light that are reflected or transmitted by those objects to our eyes. So if we consider a green leaf on a tree, the atoms of the chlorophyll molecules in the leaf are absorbing most of the frequencies of visible light (except for green) and reflecting the green light to our eyes. The leaf thus appears green. And as we view the black asphalt street, the atoms of the asphalt are absorbing all the frequencies of visible light and no light is reflected to our eyes. The asphalt street thus appears black (the absence of color). In this manner, the interaction of sunlight with matter contributes to the color appearance of our surrounding world. In this part of Lesson 2, we will focus on the interaction of sunlight with atmospheric particles to produce blue skies and red sunsets. We will attempt to answer these two questions:

Why are the sunsets red?

Why are the skies blue?
The interaction of sunlight with matter can result in one of three wave behaviors: absorption, transmission, and reflection. The atmosphere is a gaseous sea that contains a variety of types of particles; the two most common types of matter present in the atmosphere are gaseous nitrogen and oxygen. These particles are most effective in scattering the higher frequency and shorter wavelength portions of the visible light spectrum. This scattering process involves the absorption of a light wave by an atom followed by reemission of a light wave in a variety of directions. The amount of multidirectional scattering that occurs is dependent upon the frequency of the light. (In fact, it varies according to f4.) Atmospheric nitrogen and oxygen scatter violet light most easily, followed by blue light, green light, etc. So as white light (ROYGBIV) from the sun passes through our atmosphere, the high frequencies (BIV) become scattered by atmospheric particles while the lower frequencies (ROY) are most likely to pass through the atmosphere without a significant alteration in their direction. This scattering of the higher frequencies of light illuminates the skies with light on the BIV end of the visible spectrum. Compared to blue light, violet light is most easily scattered by atmospheric particles. However, our eyes are more sensitive to light with blue frequencies. Thus, we view the skies as being blue in color.

Why are sunsets red?
Meanwhile, the light that is not scattered is able to pass through our atmosphere and reach our eyes in a rather non-interrupted path. The lower frequencies of sunlight (ROY) tend to reach our eyes as we sight directly at the sun during midday. While sunlight consists of the entire range of frequencies of visible light, not all frequencies are equally intense. In fact, sunlight tends to be most rich with yellow light frequencies. For these reasons, the sun appears yellow during midday due to the direct passage of dominant amounts of yellow frequencies through our atmosphere and to our eyes.

The appearance of the sun changes with the time of day. While it may be yellow during midday, it is often found to gradually turn color as it approaches sunset. This can be explained by light scattering. As the sun approaches the horizon line, sunlight must traverse a greater distance through our atmosphere; this is demonstrated in the diagram below.

As the path that sunlight takes through our atmosphere increases in length, ROYGBIV encounters more and more atmospheric particles. This results in the scattering of greater and greater amounts of yellow light. During sunset hours, the light passing through our atmosphere to our eyes tends to be most concentrated with red and orange frequencies of light. For this reason, the sunsets have a reddish-orange hue. The effect of a red sunset becomes more pronounced if the atmosphere contains more and more particles. The presence of sulfur aerosols (emitted as an industrial pollutant and by volcanic activity) in our atmosphere contributes to some magnificent sunsets (and some very serious environmental problems).
