Zaharie Ahmad Shah, Malaysian police chief Khalid Abu said. Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told a news conference that Zaharie is considered innocent until proven guilty of any wrongdoing, and that members of his family are cooperating in the investigation. I had gone to this same family every summer since 1978. They had built a home themselves from the ground up on land that previously only used to grow corn. The sun was going down so my friend's niece and I, who was the same age -- about 12 or 13 -- decided to walk back to the house so we could get some sweaters. We had to walk down a lane about a half mile long to get to the road to get the home next door. By time we reached the front of the house, it was dark outside. From the road, I looked up at the house at the window of the spare room I slept in each summer, and in the black window, I saw a blue sphere of light.   . Quite a few years ago, my mother and her first husband were in the middle of nowhere camping out. It was pitch dark. They were sitting around the camp fire talking when they finally decided to go to bed. They both got into bed and started to go to sleep when suddenly outside the tent there was an incredibly bright light. They both crawled out of the tent to see what it was. It was as if it were daylight. They were both sure they had only just got into bed. They looked around and they could see everything, the tent, the car, the trees, etc. and there were no shadows at all, as if it were noon. Then they noticed that they could not see a source of light. They scanned the sky for the sun or other bright light but there was nothing. Neither of them could see the source of the light. Then, as suddenly as it came, it went. Pitch dark again.
